Egy fiatal ibériai hiúzról készült felvétel győzött a Londoni Természettudományi Múzeum által meghirdetett közönségszavazáson 2026-ban, ezzel ez lett a világ legjobbnak választott természetfotója, írja a BBC.
A képet Josef Stefan osztrák fényképész készítette, amikor két hétig a spanyolországi Ciudad Real tartományban tartózkodott.
Elmondása szerint több napig rejtőzködött a vadonban, mire sikerült szemben találnia magát egy fiatal hiúzzal, amely elkezdett játszadozni áldozatával, a levegőbe dobálva majd elkapva azt.
Josef Stefan szerint nagyjából 20 percig tartott a játék, addig ez teljesen lekötötte a hiúzt. „Nekem úgy tűnt, mintha a rágcsáló tudna repülni” – fogalmazott.
Prédáját a hiúz a játékot követően magával vitte egy bokor mögé, és el is fogyasztotta.
Szavazni összesen 25 fotóra lehetett, és 85 917 voks érkezett be rájuk, ami új rekord a verseny történetében.
A győztes fotó mellett négy másikat a kiemelten ajánlott kategóriába soroltak a verseny szervezői, vélhetően a szavazattszámok alapján, így a legjobb öt képet meg is tudod tekinteni alábbi galériánkban. A zsűri által legjobbnak ítélt képeket pedig itt mutattuk be korábban.
