A rover 2021. július 20-án, a küldetés 148. marsi napján (sol) a navigációs kamerájával (M2020) képeket készített a távolban mozgó porördögökről. A képeket azóta feljavították, és mivel nagyjából 15 másodperc különbséggel készültek, a NASA gif formában mutatta be őket.
A Perseverance a Jezero-kráterében dolgozik.
