Jimmy Kimmel lesz a 2023 márciusi Oscar-díjkiosztó gála házigazdája – jelentették be hétfőn a műsor producerei.
Glenn Weiss és Ricky Kirshner azt ígérték közleményükben, hogy a műsorvezető „mulatságos lesz és bármire kapható”. Kimmel harmadszor lesz a gála házigazdája. 2017-ben gyakorlatilag megmentette a díjátadót a káosztól, amely azt követően tört ki a színpadon, hogy először véletlenül a valódi győztes helyett egy másik produkciót hirdettek ki a legjobb film Oscarjának nyerteseként. Egy évvel később sem volt könnyű dolga, mivel éppen a gála előtti hónapokban lendült fel a MeToo-mozgalom, amelynek komoly hatása volt a hollywoodi filmgyártásra is.
