A jelentés szerint az Egyesült Államok Védelmi Minisztériumának egy magas rangú névtelenséget kérő tisztségviselője őszintén értékelte Oroszország Ukrajna elleni háborúját, és megállapította, hogy Moszkva még egyetlen egy HIMARS rakéta sorozatvetőt sem tudott megsemmisíteni.
A magát megnevezni nem akaró kormánytisztviselő ugyanakkor hozzátette, hogy Ukrajnának továbbra is jelentős mennyiségű tüzérségi eszközre van szüksége a jövőbeni harcokhoz. Ennek szerinte az az oka, hogy ebben a háborúban magasak a szükségletek mutatói. Igen, Ukrajna naponta 4-7 ezer tüzérségi lövedéket használ fel, Oroszország pedig 20 ezret – mutatott rá az amerikai illetékes.
A hírportál emlékeztetett arra, hogy az oroszok azt állították, a légvédelmük sikeresen lelőtte a HIMARS rendszerből kilőtt rakétákat, de az USA erre nem talált semmiféle bizonyítékot.

Hangsúlyozzák, hogy a felderítő drónnak a fejlesztése a projekttől az első repülésig kevesebb mint hat hónapig tartott. Most a SHARK teljesen készen áll a harci körülmények közötti használatra.
A drónt kifejezetten arra tervezték, hogy behatoljon az ellenség által ideiglenesen ellenőrzött területre: alapos légi felderítést végezzen, és beállítsa, beleértve a nyugati nagy hatótávolságú fegyvereket – különösen a HIMARS-t.

A jelentés szerint Reznyikov közölte, hogy az M270 a HIMARS-szal ellentétben sínen mozog, és kétszer annyi, 12rakétája van. „Az M270 jó társaság lesz a HIMARS számára a csatatéren” – tette hozzá
Az M270 rakéta sorozatvető (Multiple Launch Rocket System) az amerikai hadsereg 227 milliméteres univerzális rakétavetője. Tüzelési jellemzői: nem irányított rakétákkal 45 km távolságra, nagy pontosságú M30 és M31 rakétákkal 70 kilométeres távolságra, ballisztikus harcászati rakétákkal 300 km távolságra képes lőni.
Az M270 rakéta sorozatvetőket különféle célokra használják. Ha egy bizonyos területet viszonylag közeli távolságban kell „megdolgozni”, akkor a szovjet Grad és Tornado rakéta sorozatvetők analógjaiként működnek. Ha a feladat az, hogy nagyobb távolságra, nagyobb pontossággal kell lecsapni, akkor ezek az indítók már egy hadműveleti-harcászati rakétakomplexum szerepét töltik be, és az ugyancsak szovjet Tocska U újabb és erősebb analógjai (120 kilométerig), amivel Ukrajna gyakorlatilag nem rendelkezik.

Az Ukrajnában csodafegyver számba menő amerikai HIMARS rakéta sorozatvető rendszerek bevetése jelentős mértékben csökkentette az orosz csapatok támadóképességét – jelentette be pénteken Olekszandr Motuzjanik, a Védelmi Minisztérium sajtószóvivője egy televíziós műsorban, számolt be az rbc.ua hírportál.
A jelentés szerint Motuzjanik az ukrán televízió non-stop háborús adásának nyilatkozva elmondta: „hadd említsem meg a híres HIMARS-okat, amelyek tökéletesen működnek a frontvonalon. Az elmúlt hetekben az ellenség több mint 30 logisztikai katonai létesítményét semmisítették meg, aminek köszönhetően az orosz csapatok támadóképessége jelentősen csökkent.”
A sajtószóvivő ugyanakkor hangsúlyozta, hogy Ukrajnának most nagy hatótávolságú tüzérségre van szüksége, amely tönkreteheti az ellenség logisztikáját. „Pontosan az, ami most aktívan történik. Emellett Ukrajna nagyon pozitív hatást vár az amerikai Lend-Lease-től, mert Ukrajna képes lesz kiválasztani azokat a fegyver- és haditechnikai mintákat, amelyekre egy-egy ponton szükségünk lesz” – mutatott rá Olekszandr Motuzjanik.
A Védelmi Minisztérium sajtószóvivője azt is kijelentette, hogy az orosz hadsereg a csapásoknak csak a 30%-át hajtja végre Ukrajnában katonai létesítmények ellen, a további 70%-ban békés városokat támad.

A harctéren komoly változások fognak történni Ukrajna javára, és ez még az idei év végéig megtörténhet – jelentette ki Olekszij Reznyikov védelmi miniszter egy lapinterjúban, számolt be az rbc.ua hírportál.
A jelentés szerint Reznyikov a The Times című brit lapnak nyilatkozva elmondta: „remélem, hogy még ebben az évben egy ellentámadást fogunk látni, és az sikeres lesz.” Egyúttal meggyőződését fejezte ki, hogy Ukrajna több nagy hatótávolságú rakétarendszert kap majd, elsősorban amerikai HIMARS rakéta sorozatvető rendszereket, amelyek máris „megváltoztatták a háborús játékszabályokat”.
A védelmi miniszter jelezte, hogy Ukrajna az elmúlt három hétben használta őket HIMARS fegyvereket, hogy csapást mérjen a frontvonaltól távol lévő orosz lőszerraktárra, és megrongálja az orosz tüzérségi gépezetet. Elmondása szerint az Egyesült Államok kezdetben attól tartott, hogy a HIMARS-ok Ukrajnába küldése a háború eszkalálódását eredményezi, de most a partnerek még többet fognak küldeni és hozzájuk 300 km-es hatótávolságú rakétákat.
„Szerintem ez egy több szakaszosból álló lépés. Bizonyítékot mutatunk fel az amerikaiaknak, hogy pontosan tudjuk használni a HIMARS rendszereket, és mind nagyobb és nagyobb hatótávolságú eszközöket kapunk” – mutatott rá Olekszij Reznyikov.
A védelmi miniszter azt is megjegyezte, hogy a nyugati fegyverek hatótávolsága és pontossága nagyobb, mint a szovjet korszakbeli régi ukrán tüzérségéé, ezért mára az ukrán hadsereg veszteségei jelentősen csökkentek a donbászi napi átlagban elszenvedett 100 fős veszteséghez képest.
