Ezt aktiválva a felhasználók elhümmöghetik vagy fütyülhetik a fejükben ragadt dallamot, mire a szolgáltatás megpróbál fény deríteni a címére.



A megoldás nagyon hasonló az éppen szóló zeneszámok azonosítására használható Shazam mobilapphoz, csak épp specifikusan a hümmögés, a fütyülés és hasonló vokalizációk megértésére lett optimalizálva.









A Google szerint úgy működik, hogy a hallott hangot egy dallamot reprezentáló számsorozattá konvertálja, majd mintaegyezéssel megkeresi az adatbázisában az olyan dalokat, amelyek hasonló dallammal rendelkeznek.
