Jánosiban idén ismét életre kelt egy igazán meghitt hagyomány: a község lakói együtt öltöztették fel a karácsonyfát, amely a közösség összetartozását és az ünnepi örömöt jelképezi.
Bakos Erzsébet, Jánosi és Balazsér elöljáróasszonya beszédében kiemelte: „Karácsony közeledtével emlékezünk Jézus Krisztus születésére, a világ Megváltójának eljövetelére. Ez az ünnep a szeretetről, a hitről és a közösségről szól. Ma különleges alkalom van: közösen öltöztetjük fel a község karácsonyfáját. Minden dísz, minden apró üzenet azt mutatja, hogy együtt alkotunk valami szépet, és közben erősítjük a köteléket, amely összekapcsol minket.”
Torisnya Szilvia köszöntőjében hangsúlyozta a közösségi élmény fontosságát: „Amikor mindenki a saját kis díszét és gondolatát a fára helyezi, együtt teremtjük meg az ünnepi hangulatot, és a fa valóban a közösségünk szimbólumává válik.”
Az eseményen részt vettek a Jánosi Líceum diákjai is, akik magyar és ukrán versekkel kedveskedtek a közönségnek, majd közösen elénekelték a Mennyből az angyalt, és meggyújtották a csillagszórókat.
Az ünnepség további részében ajándékcsomagokat kaptak a gyerekek Biró Tibor képviselő, a Helikon Hotel tulajdonosa jóvoltából. Az esemény végén szeretetvendégségre került sor, amelyet Barta István képviselő biztosított.
A közös karácsonyfadíszítés nem csupán a fa feldíszítéséről szólt, hanem szépen megmutatta a közösség összetartozását, a szeretet erejét és az ünnepi hangulat közös átélésének varázsát is.

Két év kihagyás után Betlehem idén újra nyilvános karácsonyi ünnepségeket tart, jelképezve a tűzszünetet, a Születés temploma előtti hagyományos karácsonyfa felállításával. A város polgármestere szerint az ünnepségek visszaállítása a remény jelképe, miközben az utcákon vásárok és programok várják a helyieket és turistákat.
Két éven keresztül, a gázai háború idején minden nyilvános karácsonyi ünnepséget lemondtak az elfoglalt ciszjordániai városban, Betlehemben – ahol a keresztények szerint Jézus született. A közelmúltbeli tűzszünet után azonban a város úgy döntött, hogy idén visszatérnek az ünnepségek, amit a hagyományos hatalmas karácsonyfa felállítása jelképez a Születés temploma előtt – számolt be a BBC.
„Két nehéz év volt csöndben. Se karácsony, se munka, se turizmus” – mondta Maher Canawati, Betlehem polgármestere. „Mindannyian a turizmusból élünk, és az teljesen leállt” – fűzte hozzá a városvezető.
A polgármester elismeri, hogy az ünnepségek visszaállítása körül vita alakult ki, hiszen Gázában továbbra is szenvedés van, beleértve a kis keresztény közösséget is, akik közül sokaknak családtagja él Betlehemben.

Ünnepi hangulat fogadta azokat, akik a karácsonyt megelőző napokban ellátogattak Beregszászra, hiszen akár az elmúlt években, úgy idén is felállították a város Betlehemét és Karácsonyfáját és ünnepi díszbe öltözött a város főtere. A helyi vezetésnek köszönhetően azonban nem csak a szíveket melengethette a látvány, hiszen jótékonysági ebéddel is készültek. Hatalmas kondérokban nem kevesebb, mint 300 adagnyi paprikás krumpli rotyogott, amit Babják Zoltán polgármester és a városi tanács képviselői osztottak szét a járókelők számára. A program megszervezését a KMKSZ, valamint az UMDSZ frakciók képviselői szorgalmazták és valósították is meg. Egyre nehezebbek sajnos az életkörülmények, így ma még fontosabb, hogy legyenek hasonló karitatív programjaink, nyilatkozta Huszár Péter polgármester helyettes. A Vérke- parti város vezetése kiemelte, hogy bár idén ez volt az utolsó ilyen rendezvényük, de az ünnepek után is gondolkodni fognak a lakosokról.

A hagyományokhoz híven idén is közösen öltöztették fel a község karácsonyfáját Jánosiban.
Óvodások, iskolások és pedagógusok gyűltek össze ma délelőtt a Jánosi Községi Hivatal épülete előtt, hogy 2024-ben is együtt kezdjék meg a karácsonyi készülődést, s közösen varázsoljanak ünnepi hangulatot a faluba.
Az egybegyűlteket Bakos Erzsébet, a község elöljáróasszonya és Torisnya Szilvia, a Jánosi Kultúrház vezetője köszöntötte. Elmondták, hogy nagy örömükre szolgál, hogy az idei évben is szép létszámmal gyűlt össze a lakosság apraja-nagyja.
Ma nem csak egy fát öltöztetünk fel, hanem együtt díszítjük fel a lelkünket is a szeretet, a békesség és az öröm szellemével. Ahogy a faágak között ragyognak a fények, emlékeztetnek minket arra, hogy a legsötétebb időszakokban is ott van a remény fénye, mely átragyog a mindennapok nehézségein, amelyeket mindannyian magunkban hordozunk
– osztotta meg gondolatait az elöljáróasszony.
Torisnya Szilvia beszédében kiemelte, hogy a „gyerekek mosolya, izgatott várakozása teszi igazán varázslatosság ezt az ünnepet. Ti vagytok azok, akik minden évben emlékeztetnek minket arra, hogy a karácsony a szeretet és az öröm ünnepe”.
A köszöntők után az Jánosi Líceum tanulóinak műsora következett, akik verssel és énekkel emelték az ünnepi hangulatot. Ezt követően a kicsik és nagyok együtt öltöztették fel a községháza előtt lévő fenyőfákat, ki-ki a magáét, hiszen az iskolások egy hatalmas, az óvodások pedig egy kisebb karácsonyfát díszíthettek.
A fenyődíszítés után minden jelenlévő gyermek ajándékban részesült, melyeket a Magyar Ökumenikus Segélyszervezet kárpátaljai kirendeltsége biztosított, Gerevich János vezetésével.
A jelenlévők az eseményt egy közös kántálással zárták, a községi hivatal munkatársai pedig szeretetvendégséggel kedveskedtek a résztvevőknek.

Kijevben, Szent Miklós napján kivilágították az ország karácsonyfáját. Ezt Kijev polgármestere, Vitalij Klicsko jelentette be.
Idén műfenyő díszeleg a fővárosban, 15 méter magas, ami három méterrel magasabb, mint a tavalyi karácsonyfa.
„Idén fehér, tiszta hófehér. A fát ismét támogatók finanszírozták, és díszítették. A tiszta fehér szín szimbolizálja a világos és tiszta út kezdetét, emlékeztetve a karácsony és az új év frissítő megújulására”
– mondta Klicsko.
A fát 2 kilométer hosszú világoskék égőszalaggal és kétezer türkiz színű díszítéssel díszítették.

Idén sem maradt el a tavaly elindított kedves kezdeményezés a beregszászi járási Jánosiban: december 19-én a település apraja-nagyja feldíszítette a község karácsonyfáját.
A jelenlévőket Torisnya Szilvia, a kultúrház vezetője köszöntötte, aki elmondta, hogy bár világszerte számalan karácsonyi hagyomány van, a fenyődíszítés szinte minden kultúrában megtalálható.
Ezt követően Bakos Erzsébet, a község elöljárója vette át a szót, aki rámutatott, hogy rendkívül fontos az, hogy a szeretet lángja ne csak ebben az időszakban éljen a szívünkben, hanem az év minden napján izzon bennünk. „Ahol béke és szeretet van, ott meghitt, bensőséges kapcsolatra épülő családot, közösséget lehet teremteni” – mondta el.
Az eseményre a kicsik is műsorral készültek. Elsőként a Kárpátház Civil Szervezet jóvoltából nyílt tánccsoport adott elő néptáncot Nagy Kitti vezetésével, majd pedig a Jánosi Középiskola alsós tagozatos tanulói varázsoltak karácsonyi hangulatot mindenki szívébe.
A fát a gyerekek és az ünnepségen résztvevők közösen díszítették fel. A Beregszászi Máltai Szeretetszolgálat és a Magyar Ökumenikus segélyszervezet jóvoltából a gyerekek ajándékcsomagban részesültek, a községháza pedig minden résztvevőt szeretetvendégségre invitált.

Fölállították szerdán Ukrajna központi karácsonyfáját Kijevben, hogy a nyugati naptárrendszer szerint december 6-án ünnepeljék Szent Miklós napját, december 25-én pedig a karácsonyt.
Ez az első alkalom, hogy az ünnepet az új naptár szerint tartják meg, az orosz hagyományoktól való elszakadás jelképeként.
Az ortodox keresztény többségű országban a fő egyház az év elején állapodott meg arról, hogy eltér az Oroszországban is használt Julianus-naptártól, amely szerint a karácsonyt január 7-én ünneplik.
Vitalij Klicsko kijevi főpolgármester a fa fényeit szimbolikusan meggyújtotta, és kifejtette; magánadományokból finanszírozták a fát azért, hogy lehetővé tegyék a közpénzek elkülönítését a hadsereg számára.
„Még ebben a nehéz időben is van lehetőségünk eljönni megnézni a karácsonyfánkat fővárosunk központjában” – mondta a Reuters hírügynökségnek a 29 éves Oleszja Poljaros, hozzátéve; az emberek talán nem is ünnepelni jöttek, hanem inkább csak érezni akarták a karácsonyi hangulatot a helyzet ellenére.
A XI. századi Szent Szófia-székesegyház melletti tér fáján fölkapcsolták a díszkivilágítást, miközben a családok palacsintát és forralt bort kóstoltak a szomszédos kioszkokban.
A Reuters jelentése szerint a téren megkérdezettek közül sokan egyetértenek a naptárváltással.

A lengyel lap információi szerint az Oroszországi Föderáció Elnöki Igazgatóságának Épületgazdálkodási Igazgatósága vásárolt hat kaukázusi fenyőfát, mintegy 281 ezer rubel értékben.
A dolog érdekessége, hogy idén márciusban Oroszország felvette Lengyelországot a barátságtalan országok listájára. A lengyel lap emlékeztetett, hogy Oroszországban az ukrajnai háború kitörése után Lengyelországot többször is katonai megtorlással fenyegették a lengyel hatóságok „ruszofób tevékenysége” miatt.

Harkivban a metróállomáson állították fel a karácsonyfát. A fa 5,5 méteres, hófehér gömbökkel díszítették. A hírt a városi tanács közölte.
„Háború dúl, és nem helyénvaló karácsonyfát állítani a Szabadság téren, ahogy azt mindig is tettük. Ezért a metróállomásra került. Ez biztonságos” – mondta Ihor Terehov polgármester.
Elmondta, hogy a metróban gyerekeknek szóló újévi rendezvények is lesznek, illetve egy kis koncerttel is készülnek számukra. A belépés ingyenes.
Korábban beszámoltunk róla, hogy Kijevben is lesz karácsonyfa. „Megértjük, hogy tilosak a tömegrendezvények háborús időben. Azonban az újévet és a karácsonyt senki nem készül lemondani, és az újévi hangulat meg kell legyen. Nem engedhetjük meg Putyinnak, hogy ellopja tőlünk a karácsonyt” – közölte Vitalij Klicsko polgármester.
