Csaknem ezer belföldi és nemzetközi járatot érint szombaton az olaszországi repülőtereken a földi kiszolgáló személyzet munkabeszüntetése, amely délelőtt 10 órától este 6 óráig tart.
A késések miatt a sztrájk hatása az éjszakai órákba nyúlóan is érezhető lesz.
A munkabeszüntetést a reptéri dolgozókat képviselő olaszországi szakszervezetek hirdették meg, a földi személyzet hat éve lejárt munkaszerződésének megújítását követelve.
Ezzel párhuzamosan sztrájkot hirdettek 12 és 16 óra között a számos olaszországi járatot is fedő Malta Air légitársaság pilótái, valamint 10 és 18 óra között a Vueling pilótái és légi személyzete.
A sztrájk a július közepére eső egyik legforgalmasabb nyári hétvégére esik. A rendkívüli kánikula sem segíti majd a repülőtereken az utasok helyzetét.
A légiforgalmi sztrájk a csütörtöki olaszországi vasutassztrájkot és a pénteki városi tömegközlekedési munkabeszüntetést követi.
