Az Ukrajnában csodafegyver számba menő amerikai HIMARS rakéta sorozatvető rendszerek bevetése jelentős mértékben csökkentette az orosz csapatok támadóképességét – jelentette be pénteken Olekszandr Motuzjanik, a Védelmi Minisztérium sajtószóvivője egy televíziós műsorban, számolt be az rbc.ua hírportál.
A jelentés szerint Motuzjanik az ukrán televízió non-stop háborús adásának nyilatkozva elmondta: „hadd említsem meg a híres HIMARS-okat, amelyek tökéletesen működnek a frontvonalon. Az elmúlt hetekben az ellenség több mint 30 logisztikai katonai létesítményét semmisítették meg, aminek köszönhetően az orosz csapatok támadóképessége jelentősen csökkent.”
A sajtószóvivő ugyanakkor hangsúlyozta, hogy Ukrajnának most nagy hatótávolságú tüzérségre van szüksége, amely tönkreteheti az ellenség logisztikáját. „Pontosan az, ami most aktívan történik. Emellett Ukrajna nagyon pozitív hatást vár az amerikai Lend-Lease-től, mert Ukrajna képes lesz kiválasztani azokat a fegyver- és haditechnikai mintákat, amelyekre egy-egy ponton szükségünk lesz” – mutatott rá Olekszandr Motuzjanik.
A Védelmi Minisztérium sajtószóvivője azt is kijelentette, hogy az orosz hadsereg a csapásoknak csak a 30%-át hajtja végre Ukrajnában katonai létesítmények ellen, a további 70%-ban békés városokat támad.
