Zelenszkij megjegyezte, hogy hívők milliói gyászolják a pápa halálát világszerte.
„Élete Istennek, az embereknek és az Egyháznak volt szentelve. Tudott reményt adni, enyhíteni a szenvedést imákkal és segítette az összetartozást. Imádkozott Ukrajna és az ukránok békéjéért. Együtt gyászolunk a katolikusokkal és minden kereszténnyel, akik Ferenc pápa lelki támogatására támaszkodtak. Örökké emlékezni fogunk rá”, írta Ukrajna elnöke.
A Kijevhez közeli Bilhorodka ötszintes lakóházában hétfő délután történt robbanás okának minél hamarabbi kiderítését sürgette Volodimir Zelenszkij elnök, aki részvétét és együttérzését fejezte ki a detonációban elhunyt személy hozzátartozóinak, illetve a sérülteknek Twitter-bejegyzésében – adta hírül az rbc.ua hírportál.
Mint az államfő írta, őszinte részvétét fejezi ki a bilhorodkai házrobbanásban történt haláleset kapcsán. Ugyancsak követelte a tragédia okának minél hamarabbi kiderítését. „A helyi hatóságoknak és a megyei állami adminisztrációnak minden szükséges segítséget meg kell adni a sérülteknek és az evakuált lakóknak.
Mint hírportálunk korábban beszámolt róla, robbanás történt, majd tűz ütött ki hétfő délután egy ötszintes lakóházban a Kijevhez közeli Bilhorodka településen, a detonációban hatan megsérültek, ketten, egyikük egy 13 éves gyermek, kórházba kerültek, 40 lakót evakuáltak. A tűz megfékezése hat órán át tartott. Az épület átfésülésekor egy személy holttestére bukkantak a tűzoltók.A lángok oltásában 53 tűzoltó és 12 technikai eszköz vett részt.

Részvétét fejezte ki Vlagyimir Putyin orosz elnök Volodimir Zelenszkij államfőnek pénteki telefonbeszélgetésük során a február 13-án az oroszországi Pszkov környékén közlekedési balesetben életét vesztett nyolc kárpátaljai lakos halála miatt – adta hírül honlapján a Kreml sajtószolgálata.
Mint beszámoltunk róla, február 13-án éjjel egy rahói és técsői járási vendégmunkásokat szállító kisbusz frontálisan ütközött a Szentpétervár–Nevel országúton egy kamionnal, aminek következtében 5 rahói járási és 3 técsői járási lakos vesztette életét, a jármű 38 éves rahói illetőségű tulajdonosa túlélte a balesetet, jelenleg kórházban ápolják. Helyi rendőrségi információk szerint a kárpátaljai kisbusz egy előtte haladó autó előzése közben hajtott bele a szemből érkező teherautóba.
Arról is írtunk, hogy Zelenszkij telefonon egyeztetett Putyin orosz államfővel a „normandiai négyek” áprilisi találkozójának előkészületeiről, külön kitérve a tervezett újabb fogolycsere kérdésére.
