A szezon első árverésén rekordárat fizettek egy fürt vörös szőlőért Japánban.
A lédús, magas cukortartalmáról híres fajta egy fürtjéért már tavaly is rekordárat fizettek, de az idei első árverésen ez megdőlt: 1,3 millió jent (mintegy négymillió forintot) ért meg a vevőnek a 900 grammos fürt, amelyen majdnem 30, pingponglabda méretű szőlőszem termett.
Az Isikava prefektúrában nemesített szőlő fürtjéért idén is a Hjakurakuszo cég – mely a prefektúrában három hagyományos japán fogadó, vagyis rjokan tulajdonosa – fizette a rekordárat. A vevő nevében ezúttal is egy nagykereskedő licitált a kanazavai nagybani piacon.
Szakamoto Micutaka, a cég főszakácsa azzal indokolta a hatalmas összegű vételárat, hogy bátorítani szeretnék a japán mezőgazdasági termelőket.
