Mint az orosz álvezető írta: „megindult a járműforgalom a Krími hídon. Jelenleg a személygépkocsik és buszok számára teljes ellenőrzés mellett szabad a forgalom.” Szerinte jobb, ha a kamionsofőrök a kercsi kompátkelővel tervezik meg útvonalukat. Ugyanakkor hozzátette, hogy a Kercs-2 komp órákon belül megkezdi a közlekedést a szoroson át.
Refat Csubarov, a krími tatárok medzsliszének Kijevben élő vezetője a sajtónak elmondta, hogy a Krím félszigeten a Krími hídon történt robbanás és tűzvész után az emberek pánikszerű élelmiszer- és üzemanyag-vásárlásba kezdtek. „Reggel minden pékárut lesöpörtek a polcokról, akárcsak a lisztet és a durva őrleményeket, amelyekből 3 kg-ot engedélyeztek személyenként. Még nem tudjuk, hogy ez központi utasítás voltak-e a hatóságok részéről” – emlékeztetett. Jelezte, hogy vannak fotói is a boltokból és a benzinkutaknál várakozó nagy sorokról.
A tatár vezető elmondta azt is, hogy Kercs város keleti szélén hosszú sorban állnak az emberek, akik komppal akarják elhagyni a félszigetet. „Már több mint három kilométeres a sor, és több mint két órája nincs sehol a komp. A sorban állók nagyon várják, hogy sürgősen elhagyhassák a Krím félszigetet” – számolt be az ukrán fővárosból Refat Csubarov.
