Az X (korábban Twitter) tulajdonosa, Elon Musk azt fontolgatja, hogy egy kisebb összegért cserébe engedné csak meg a platformja új felhasználóinak a posztolást, írja a TechCrunch. Az intézkedésnek ahhoz lehet köze, hogy április elején az X háborút hirdetett a kamufelhasználók ellen.
Musk szerint azért kéne fizetniük az új felhasználóknak, mert ezzel ki lehetne küszöbölni, hogy robotok posztoljanak. Musk szerint a mostani AI-programok gond nélkül átmennek a „robot vagy?”-teszteken. Egy másik posztra reagálva Musk arra tett utalást, hogy három hónap után már az új felhasználóknak is ingyenes lesz majd a posztolás.
Ahogy azt a TechCrunch is megjegyzi, egyelőre még nem lehet tudni, hogy mikortól kezdődően és pontosan mennyit is kéne fizetniük majd az új felhasználóknak a posztolásért.
Tavaly októberben az X elkezdett pénzt kérni, évente 1 dollárt az új felhasználóktól Új-Zélandon és a Fülöp-szigeteken azért, hogy ne csak olvashassák a posztokat a platformon, hanem reagálhassanak is rájuk.
