A kutat\u00f3k szerint a sz\u00edn\u00e9t melanizmus okozza, egy olyan genetikai \u00e1llapot, amely miatt nagyon sok s\u00f6t\u00e9t fest\u00e9kanyag, melanin termel\u0151dik a szervezet\u00e9ben a r\u00f3zsasz\u00edn fest\u00e9k helyett. A melanisztikus \u00e1llatok az alb\u00edn\u00f3k ellent\u00e9tei.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A fekete flaming\u00f3t a s\u00f3s viz\u0171 Akrotiri-, m\u00e1s n\u00e9ven Limasszoli-t\u00f3 partj\u00e1n, a brit katonai t\u00e1maszpontok ter\u00fclet\u00e9n l\u00e1tt\u00e1k, ugyanott, ahol a kor\u00e1bbi alkalmakkor is. Tomasz Hadzsikiriaku, az Akrotiri \u00d6kol\u00f3giai Oktat\u00e1s K\u00f6zpont igazgat\u00f3ja szerint a mad\u00e1r, amelynek \u0151 a Melani (Fekete) nevet adta, 10. sz\u00fclet\u00e9snapj\u00e1n t\u00e9rt vissza Ciprusra.
