Az elm\u00falt \u00e9vek nem voltak k\u00f6nny\u0171ek az idegenforgalomban dolgoz\u00f3k sz\u00e1m\u00e1ra sem, hiszen mind a k\u00fclf\u00f6ldi, mind pedig a belf\u00f6ldi turizmus is megtorpant a vil\u00e1gj\u00e1rv\u00e1ny, majd a k\u00f6zel h\u00e1rom \u00e9ve tart\u00f3 h\u00e1bor\u00fa miatt. K\u00f6sz\u00f6nt\u0151 besz\u00e9d\u00e9ben Mester Andr\u00e1s, a KMTT eln\u00f6ke kiemelte, hogy az elm\u00falt id\u0151szakot igyekeztek a felk\u00e9sz\u00fcl\u00e9snek szentelni, b\u00e1r a turist\u00e1k most kev\u00e9sb\u00e9 vannak jelen a vid\u00e9k\u00fcnk\u00f6n, de a K\u00e1rp\u00e1taljai Magyar Kultur\u00e1lis Sz\u00f6vets\u00e9ggel k\u00f6z\u00f6sen \u00e9p\u00edtkeznek \u00e9s mindent megtesznek annak \u00e9rdek\u00e9ben, hogy min\u00e9l el\u0151bb talpra \u00e1llhasson \u00e9s fejl\u0151dhessen a turisztikai \u00e1gazat vid\u00e9k\u00fcnk magyarlakta ter\u00fcletein. A turisztikai tan\u00e1cs megalakul\u00e1s\u00e1ban jelent\u0151s szerepe volt a K\u00e1rp\u00e1taljai Magyar Kultur\u00e1lis Sz\u00f6vets\u00e9gnek is, hiszen a r\u00e9gi\u00f3 felemelked\u00e9s\u00e9t szolg\u00e1l\u00f3 h\u00faz\u00f3 \u00e1gazatnak tartj\u00e1k az idegenforgalmat \u00e9s a vend\u00e9gl\u00e1t\u00e1st. A KMKSZ \u00e9s KMTT k\u00f6z\u00f6s er\u0151vel, Eur\u00f3pai Uni\u00f3s forr\u00e1sok bevon\u00e1s\u00e1val az elm\u00falt id\u0151szakban t\u00f6bb t\u00e1jh\u00e1zat is kialak\u00edtott, illetve fel\u00faj\u00edtott. Az egyik ezek k\u00f6z\u00fcl a sal\u00e1nki, amely azt a c\u00e9lt szolg\u00e1lja, hogy ez a telep\u00fcl\u00e9s is beker\u00fclhessen a turisztikai k\u00f6rforg\u00e1sba, amit a helyiek is szorgalmaznak.
