Az alkalom a helyi reform\u00e1tus templomban kezd\u0151d\u00f6tt istentisztelettel. L\u00e1szl\u00f3 K\u00e1roly reform\u00e1tus lelkip\u00e1sztor besz\u00e9d\u00e9ben hangs\u00falyozta, hogy a magyarok ezer \u00e9ves l\u00e9tez\u00e9s\u00e9nek egyik legnehezebb id\u0151szaka volt ez, de ezalatt az id\u0151szak alatt \u00e9rt a n\u00e9p nemzett\u00e9, legnagyobb er\u00e9ny\u00fck pedig a hazaszeretet \u00e9s a vall\u00e1sukhoz val\u00f3 ragaszkod\u00e1s. Hossz\u00fa t\u00f6rt\u00e9nelm\u00fcnk sor\u00e1n a magyars\u00e1g k\u00e9t f\u0151 eszm\u00e9\u00e9rt harcolt mindig, \u00fagy mint a szabads\u00e1g \u00e9s a f\u00fcggetlens\u00e9g, l\u00e9nyeges, hogy eml\u00e9kezz\u00fcnk erre ma is, ehhez pedig tenni k\u00e9sz ifj\u00fas\u00e1gra van sz\u00fcks\u00e9g, emelte ki Sari J\u00f3zsef, a K\u00e1rp\u00e1taljai Magyar Kultur\u00e1lis Sz\u00f6vets\u00e9g Fels\u0151-Tisza-vid\u00e9ki K\u00f6z\u00e9pszint\u0171 Szervezet\u00e9nek eln\u00f6ke. 1848 t\u00f6rt\u00e9n\u00e9sei olyan egys\u00e9gg\u00e9 tett\u00e9k a magyar n\u00e9pet, amit hat\u00e1rok sem szak\u00edthatnak sz\u00e9t. Elengedhetetlen, hogy fiataljaink tiszt\u00e1ban legyenek mindazzal, amit el\u0151deink tettek a haz\u00e1\u00e9rt, hogy \u0151rizz\u00e9k \u00e9s tov\u00e1bbvigy\u00e9k majd nemzeti kult\u00far\u00e1nkat, hagyom\u00e1nyainkat. Ma ez k\u00fcl\u00f6n\u00f6sen fontos a sz\u00f3rv\u00e1nyban \u00e9l\u0151k sz\u00e1m\u00e1ra.
