A m\u00e1sodik vil\u00e1gh\u00e1bor\u00fa frontjain szerzett \u00e9rdemei\u00e9rt megkapta a V\u00f6r\u00f6s Csillag \u00e9rdemrendet. 1987 \u00e9s 1991 k\u00f6z\u00f6tt a Szovjetuni\u00f3 v\u00e9delmi miniszteri tiszts\u00e9g\u00e9t t\u00f6lt\u00f6tte be, a vezet\u00e9se alatt jelent\u0151s m\u00e9rt\u00e9kben n\u0151tt a fegyveres er\u0151k harck\u00e9szs\u00e9ge, \u00e9s vont\u00e1k ki szervezetten a szovjet csapatokat Afganiszt\u00e1nb\u00f3l.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jazov t\u00e1mogatta a Gorbacsov elleni \u00f6sszeesk\u00fcv\u00e9st 1991-ben, ami\u00e9rt letart\u00f3ztatt\u00e1k, de k\u00e9s\u0151bb amneszti\u00e1val kiengedt\u00e9k a b\u00f6rt\u00f6nb\u0151l.
