Megszűnt a külföldről Angliába utazók érkezés utáni koronavírus-tesztelési kötelezettsége pénteken.
Az új szabályozás brit idő szerint hajnali 4 órakor, közép-európai idő szerint 5-kor lépett érvénybe, és a koronavírus ellen teljes körűen beoltott utasokra vonatkozik.
Ezzel teljesen megszűntek az Angliába utazók koronavírus-tesztelési kötelezettségei.
Január első hetéig a beutazóknak az indulás előtt is koronavírustesztet kellett végeztetniük, az érkezés után pedig PCR-szűrésnek kellett alávetniük magukat, és ennek eredményét elkülönítésben kellett megvárniuk.
Az indulás előtti kötelező tesztet az idei év elején már eltörölte a brit kormány, és nem sokkal később az érkezés utáni PCR-teszt elvégzésének kötelmét is feloldották, de az érkezés utáni második nap végéig el kellett végeztetni egy gyorstesztet.
A brit kormány január végén hozott döntése alapján azonban péntektől ez az utolsó tesztkötelezettség is megszűnt a teljes körűen beoltott beutazók esetében.
Grant Shapps brit közlekedési miniszter az új szabályozást ismertetve annak idején úgy fogalmazott: egyértelművé vált, hogy az utazáshoz kötődő koronavírus-tesztelés fenntartása már nem jár gyakorlati haszonnal a teljes körűen beoltott utasok esetében.
A teljes körű beoltottságot a brit kormány jelenlegi meghatározása szerint két beadott oltási adag, illetve az egykomponensű Janssen-vakcinából értelemszerűen egy beadott dózis jelenti.
A brit kormány jelenleg a Covaxin, a Moderna, a Janssen, a Novavax (Nuvaxovid és Covovax), az Oxford/AstraZeneca, a Pfizer/BioNTech, valamint a kínai Sinopharm és Sinovac oltóanyagait ismeri el.
A nem teljes körűen beoltottnak számító beutazóknak sem kell péntektől az angliai érkezés utáni második tesztet elvégeztetniük. Ezt az eddig érvényes szabályozás alapján az érkezési utáni nyolcadik napon kellett megcsináltatni.
A nem teljesen beoltottaknak péntektől a beutazáshoz az indulás előtti két napban elvégzett koronavírusteszt negatív leletét kell felmutatniuk, és az érkezés utáni második nap végéig is egy PCR-tesztet el kell végeztetniük. Ennek a tesztnek az időpontját még az indulás előtt le kell foglalniuk.
Nekik sem kell azonban angliai érkezésük után elkülönítésbe vonulniuk, csak abban az esetben, ha a beutazás utáni PCR-teszt eredménye pozitív.

Leszállt csütörtökön a varsói repülőtéren az ukrán válság miatt Lengyelországba vezényelt, 350 brit katonát szállító repülőgép. Mariusz Blaszczak lengyel nemzetvédelmi miniszter ez alkalomból a NATO-tagállamok szolidaritása jelének nevezte a lengyelországi brit kontingens bővítését – számolt be az MTI.
Azt, hogy Nagy-Britannia újabb katonákat vezényel Lengyelországba, hétfőn Ben Wallace brit védelmi miniszter jelentette be, miután Londonban Blaszczakkal tárgyalt.
A lengyel nemzetvédelmi miniszter a brit katonák megérkezése alkalmából tartott csütörtöki varsói sajtóértekezletén aláhúzta: a brit elitegység, a királyi tengerészgyalogság tagjainak telepítése „jelentős módon erősíti a biztonságot a NATO keleti szárnyán”.
Blaszczak kijelentette: Varsó az észak-atlanti szövetség államai szolidaritása jelének tekinti, hogy a szombat óta Lengyelországba folyamatosan szállított 1700 amerikai katona mellett brit katonák is érkeznek.
Felidézte: a brit katonák jelen vannak a 2016 óta Lengyelországban állomásozó nemzetközi NATO-zászlóalj soraiban, tavaly évvégétől pedig a brit hadsereg száz műszaki szakértője is segít a határőrizeti létesítmények megerősítésében a lengyel–fehérorosz határon.
A brit katonák, a bejelentések szerint, a lengyelekkel közös gyakorlatokon vesznek majd részt, támogatják lengyel partnereiket a vészhelyzeti tervezésben és azon kapacitáserősítésében is, amely az orosz fegyveres erőknek az Ukrajna határainál észlelhető összevonásával függ össze.

A 33 éves énekesnő nyerte az év előadóművésze díjat, amelyért először versenyeztek női és férfi előadók is egy kategóriában. Adele a mezőnyben a rapper Little Simz és Dave, valamint Ed Sheeran és Sam Fender elől szerezte meg a trófeát.
A Brit Awards szervezői tavaly novemberben jelentették be, hogy más díjátadókhoz csatlakozva 2022-től eltörlik a nemek szerinti megosztottságot a díjkategóriákban.
Mo Gilligan, az est házigazdája „a Brit Awards királynőjének” nevezte a londoni születésű énekes-dalszerző Adele-t. A sztár Easy on Me című listavezető dalával elvitte az év legjobb számáért járó díjat is. A szám az énekesnő 30 című lemezén jelent meg, amely – mint mondta – válását segített feldolgozni neki és kisfiának. A lemez az év albuma díjat is megkapta.
Bár Adele negyedik stúdióalbuma, a 30 csak novemberben jelent meg, 2021-ben ez lett a legkelendőbb lemez Nagy-Britanniában, hat hét alatt több mint 600 ezer példányban vásárolták meg. Az énekesnő az év producere díjat elnyerő Infónak (eredeti nevén Dean Josiah Covernek) is megköszönte, hogy segített neki a lemez elkészítésében.
A díjátadón a legjobb együttes elismerését a Wolf Alice rockbanda kapta, Little Simz pedig a legjobb új előadóművész díját vehette át. Ed Sheeran az év dalszerzője díjával gazdagította gyűjteményét.
Billie Eilish és Olivia Rodrigo amerikai előadóként a legjobb nemzetközi előadó díját kapta, Rodrigo pedig a legjobb nemzetközi szám díját is elnyerte a Good 4 U című dalával.
Az év legjobb nemzetközi együttese az amerikai R&B-duó, a Silk Sonic lett, amelyben Bruno Mars és a rapper Anderson Paak zenél.
A különböző zenei stílusok népszerűsítésére négy új műfaji díjat is bevezettek a 42. díjátadón, ezekről a közönség szavazhatott. Sam Fender a legjobb alternatív/rock előadónak járó díjat nyerte el, míg Dave a legjobb hip-hop/grime/rap előadónak járó elismerést. A legjobb pop/R’n’B előadónak járó díjat Dua Lipa énekesnő kapta, míg Becky Hill a legjobb táncért járó díjat nyerte el.

Már hétfőn kezdetét vette Nagy-Britanniában a II. Erzsébet királynő platinajubileumi, vagyis trónra lépésének 70. évfordulóját ünneplő több hónapos rendezvénysorozat. Az uralkodót utcabálokkal, látványos parádékkal és rendkívüli négynapos munkaszünettel is köszöntik.
Két év kihagyás után teljes pompájában tartják meg a királynő hivatalos születésnapját, a Trooping the Colour néven közismert, igen látványos, rendszerint több százezres tömeget vonzó katonai parádét is, amelyet a koronavírus-járvány miatt 2020-ban és tavaly csak igen szűk körben, a királynő windsori rezidenciáján, közönség nélkül rendeztek meg.
A Buckingham-palota által hétfőn ismertetett újabb részletek szerint az ünnepségsorozat egész évben tart majd, de a fő rendezvényeket 2022. június 2-5. között tartják, és az akkori hétvége előtti két napon is munkaszünet lesz. A rendezvénysorozat csúcspontján, egy nagyszabású parádéval összekötött utcabálon ötezer vendég vesz majd részt, de Platinum Party néven lesz egy hatalmas élő koncert is a Buckingham-palota előtt, „a globális szórakoztatóipar legnagyobb sztárjainak” közreműködésével.
A színpompás díszszemlét 1400 katona és 400 fős katonazenekar részvételével tartják majd meg, mégpedig a hagyományoktól eltérően nem egy vasárnapi napon, hanem a négynapos munkaszüneti hétvége első napján, június 2-án, csütörtökön. Az ünnepi programsorozat már hétfőn elkezdődött a platinajubileumi pudingversennyel, amelyen bárki részt vehet.
A Platinum Pudding Competition elnevezésű megmérettetésen a feladat egy minél újszerűbb puding megalkotása. A recepteket világszerte ismert szakértőkből álló zsűri véleményezi majd, a nyertes pudingreceptet megosztják a nyilvánossággal, és az e recept alapján készült pudingot felszolgálják a négynapos munkaszüneti hétvégén rendezendő Big Jubilee Lunch résztvevőinek.
II. Erzsébet királynő 1952. február 6-án, édesapja, VI. György király halálának napján lépett az Egyesült Királyság trónjára, de uralkodása jelesebb évfordulóinak ünnepségeit – például az 1977-es ezüstjubileumot, a 2002-ben tartott aranyjubileumot és a 2012-ben rendezett gyémántjubileumi rendezvényeket – a jobb időjárás reményében június elején tartották.
A királynő közismerten nem tartja illőnek, hogy édesapja halálának évfordulóján ünnepelje az ország az ő trónra lépésének évfordulóját.
Az uralkodó az idei platinajubileumi évben tölti be 96. életévét; elsőszülött fia, Károly trónörökös 74 éves lesz. Ez lesz ugyanakkor az első olyan jelentős évforduló, amelyen II. Erzsébet királynő férje már nem lehet jelen: Fülöp edinburghi herceg tavaly április 9-én, életének 100., házasságuk 74. évében meghalt. A királynő minden idők leghosszabb ideje hivatalban lévő és a világ jelenlegi legidősebb államfője. Üknagymamája, Viktória királynő uralkodási időrekordját már hat és fél évvel ezelőtt, 2015. szeptember 9-én megdöntötte.

Megszűnt csütörtökön a koronavírus-járvány megfékezésére korábban elrendelt korlátozások zöme Angliában, bár fertőződés esetén még kötelező az elkülönítés.
A brit kormány döntése alapján – amelyet Boris Johnson miniszterelnök jelentett be a múlt héten – csütörtöktől nem kell oltási igazolást bemutatni a belépés feltételeként azokban az angliai intézményekben, amelyekben ezt eddig kormányzati rendelkezés írta elő.
Az omikron koronavírus-variáns gyors terjedése nyomán született rendelkezés alapján tavaly ősztől az előírás csütörtöki visszavonásáig a brit állami egészségügyi szolgálat (NHS) által kiadott hazai, illetve a brit kormány által elismert külföldi oltási igazolást, vagy frissen elvégzett koronavírus-gyorsteszt negatív eredményét kellett felmutatni a belépéshez az éjszakai szórakozóhelyekre és a nagy tömegeket vonzó rendezvényekre. Ugyancsak megszűnt a maszkviselési kötelezettség a közösségi intézményekben, köztük a tömegközlekedési eszközökön és a boltokban is.
Johnson múlt heti tájékoztatása szerint ez a maszkot nem viselők büntethetőségének megszűnését is jelenti, bár az egyes intézmények saját hatáskörükben továbbra is kérhetik, hogy a látogatók viseljenek maszkot.
Sadiq Khan londoni polgármester be is jelentette, hogy a londoni tömegközlekedésben továbbra is elvárják az utasoktól a maszkviselést. Ennek elmulasztása a kormány intézkedése alapján immár nem jár bírsággal, de a tömegközlekedési hálózatok üzemeltetői megtilthatják az utazást a maszkot nem viselőknek.
A középiskolák osztálytermeiben már egy hete megszűnt a kötelező maszkviselet, és az oktatási minisztérium csütörtökre visszavonta azt a szabályozást is, amely az iskolák közösségi helyiségeiben írta elő a maszkviselést.
A kormány visszavonta emellett azt az ajánlást is, amely az otthoni munkavégzést szorgalmazta olyan tevékenységek esetében, amelyek lehetővé tették a távmunkát.
Boris Johnson a londoni alsóházban tartott múlt heti tájékoztatásában hangsúlyozta: a korlátozások feloldását az egész Európában példátlan sikerű nagy-britanniai oltási kampány tette lehetővé, és az, hogy az omikron koronavírus-variáns okozta fertőzések száma az elmúlt hónapok nagyon gyors felfutása után a jelek szerint immár tetőzött.
A brit kormányfő elmondta: a 60 éven felüli angliai korosztály tagjainak több mint 90 százaléka már a koronavírus elleni oltás harmadik, emlékeztető és hatáserősítő dózisát is megkapta.
A brit egészségügyi minisztérium legfrissebb adatai szerint az Egyesült Királyság egészében eddig több mint 37 millióan kapták meg mindhárom oltási adagot; ez a teljes brit felnőtt lakosságnak csaknem a kétharmada.
Koronavírus-fertőzés esetében egyelőre kötelező a karantén, de a kormány rövid időn belül ezt a kötelezettséget is meg akarja szüntetni.
Boris Johnson úgy fogalmazott: hamarosan eljön az elkülönítésre vonatkozó jogi szabályozás teljes körű visszavonásának ideje, ugyanúgy, ahogy azokat sem kötelezi törvény az elkülönítésre, akik influenzásak.
A jelenlegi karanténelőírások jogi hatálya március 24-én jár le, de a brit kormányfő jelezte: ha a járványadatok ezt lehetővé teszik, szavazásra szeretné terjeszteni a parlamentben a lejárati időpont előrehozását.
Skóciában, Walesben és Észak-Írországban az angliainál is szigorúbb intézkedések voltak érvényben, de a helyi kormányok az utóbbi napokban szintén sorra jelentik be a korlátozások, előírások visszavonását vagy jelentős enyhítését.

Hamarosan megszűnik a külföldről Angliába utazók érkezés utáni koronavírus-tesztelési kötelezettsége – közölte hétfőn Boris Johnson brit miniszterelnök.
Johnson egyelőre nem fedte fel, hogy a beutazóknak mikortól nem kell alávetniük magukat koronavírus-szűrésnek. Az időpontot Grant Shapps közlekedési miniszter jelenti majd be a londoni parlamentben.
A brit kormányfő vidéki látogatásán, újságíróknak nyilatkozva elmondta: a beutazás utáni tesztelési kötelezettség a koronavírus ellen teljes körűen beoltott utazók esetében szűnik meg. Johnson egyértelművé tette hétfői nyilatkozatában, hogy a teljes körű oltottság ebben az esetben két beadott oltási adagot jelent.
Brit politikusok korábban már tettek utalásokat arra a lehetőségre, hogy a jövőben azok számítanának teljesen beoltottnak, akik három vakcinadózist kaptak, de hivatalosan ez még nem merült fel.
Johnson szerint a brit kormány meg akarja mutatni, hogy Anglia nyitott az utazók előtt, és ennek érdekében úgy módosítja a szabályozást, hogy a külföldről érkezőknek hamarosan nem lesz kötelező a beutazás utáni koronavírus-teszt. Hozzátette: az eddigi meghozott kemény döntéseknek köszönhetően jelenleg Nagy-Britannia a legnyitottabb gazdaság és a legnyitottabb társadalom egész Európában. A brit kormányfő szerint továbbra is indokolt az óvatosság, de a járványügyi mutatók most már jól láthatóan javulnak.
A brit egészségügyi minisztérium járványügyi adatai azt mutatják, hogy valóban visszavonulóban van a koronavírus-járvány az Egyesült Királyságban. A szaktárca legfrissebb kimutatása szerint a vasárnap este zárult 24 órában 74 799, az utóbbi egy hétben 641 687 koronavírus-szűrési lelet bizonyult pozitívnak országszerte. A heti fertőződési szám több mint 116 ezerrel, 15,4 százalékkal alacsonyabb az egy héttel korábban újonnan kimutatott koronavírus-fertőződésekénél.
A naponta kiszűrt új fertőződések száma az év első hetében – mindenekelőtt a rendkívül fertőző omikron vírusvariáns gyors terjedése miatt – még rekordot döntött: január 4-én 218 724 ember szűrési leletében mutatták ki a koronavírus jelenlétét, vagyis a vasárnap este zárult 24 órában ennek alig több mint a harmada volt az újonnan azonosított koronavírus-fertőződések száma.
A jelenlegi szabályozás alapján a külföldről Angliába utazóknak az érkezés utáni második nap végéig koronavírus-gyorstesztet (lateral flow test) kell elvégeztetniük.
Ez is már jelentősen enyhített előírás a korábbi szabályokhoz képest, hiszen január első hetéig a beutazóknak indulás előtt is koronavírus-tesztet kellett végeztetniük, az érkezés után pedig PCR-szűrésnek kellett alávetniük magukat, és ennek eredményét elkülönítésben kellett megvárniuk.

Szakértők arra figyelmeztették a briteket, hogy több millióan vannak, akik “csendes károkat” okoznak maguknak azzal, hogy veszélyes mennyiségű alkoholt fogyasztanak otthon – a legfrissebb adatok szerint a koronavírus-járvány idején ugrásszerűen megnövekedett az otthoni “magas kockázatú” alkoholfogyasztás mértéke.
A legfrissebb adatok szerint legalább 8 millió brit van, akik olyan mennyiségű bort, sört, vagy egyéb szeszes italt fogyasztanak, hogy az már bőven káros az egészségükre nézve. Julia Sinclair professzor, a Royal College of Psychiatrists függőségekkel foglalkozó tanszékének elnöke szerint a járvány felelős a jelentősen megnövekedett alkoholfogyasztásért, mivel az emberek nincsenek időhöz kötve, mint a kocsmákban.
A YouGov felméréseinek adatai szerint tavaly augusztus elejétől október végéig a brit felnőttek 18,1 százaléka fogyasztott veszélyes mennyiségű alkoholt, mely 8 millió embert jelent. Ez a szám pedig azért is riasztó, mert jóval magasabb, mint a járvány kitörése előtt, azaz 2020 februárjában, amikor ez a szám még csak 12,4 százalék volt, mely közel 6 millió embernek felel meg.
Ezzel szemben 2019 októberében még ennél is kevesebben nyúltak alkoholhoz, ugyanis az adatok szerint akkor a britek 11,9 százalékát érintette a túlzott mértékű alkoholfogyasztás, mely mintegy 5 millió embert jelent. Az NHS a legfrissebb, igen riasztó adatok nyomán kiadott egy ajánlást a lakosság részére, mely szerint a javallott heti maximális alkoholegység összesen 14 lehet.
Sinclair megosztotta, a legfrissebb adatok szerint több mint kétszer annyi férfi fogyaszt veszélyes mennyiségű alkoholt, mint nő, ami egyértelműen jelzi, hogy a koronavírus-járvány mennyire káros hatással volt az emberekre, mivel sokan a szorongást és a depressziót próbálják leküzdeni az alkohol segítségével, míg mások egyenesen szokássá alakították a kényszerű fogyasztást – számolt be a Guardian.

A hőmegtartási tanácsok között szerepelt a réteges öltözködés és az intenzívebb testmozgás (például takarítsanak gyakrabban, ugráljanak vagy rendezzenek a gyerekeknek hulahoppkarika-versenyt), de az extra hőnyerés céljából olyan kreatív javaslatokkal is ellátták az embereket, minthogy szüntessék meg a huzatot a lakásban, húzzák el a függönyöket, amikor éppen süt a nap, vagy nyissák tágra a forró sütő ajtaját. A multitipp legmerészebb felvetése azonban minden bizonnyal az volt, hogy ha fáznak, ölelgessék háziállataikat vagy fogyasszanak zabkását.
Arról nem tudni, hogy a szolgáltató bloggerei mennyire szánták humorosnak, illetve komolynak a bejegyzéseket, a tartalommal azonban így is, úgy is aknára léptek. Nagy-Britanniában ugyanis (ahogy Magyarországot kivéve szinte egész Európában) hetek óta nyomasztják a lakosságot a magas energiaszámlák, sok esetben az energiaellátás is akadozik, így az Ovo Energy üzenete felháborodást váltott ki a fogyasztók körében.
A vállalat később közleményben bocsánatot kért és befagyasztotta energiatakarékossági tippeket nyújtó blogját azzal az indokkal, hogy értelmesebb információkkal frissítse azt, ugyanakkor megértésükről is biztosították a fogyasztókat: „Tisztában vagyunk azzal, milyen nehéz lesz a helyzet sok ügyfelünk számára ebben az évben” – írták, és nem túloztak.
Az előrejelzések szerint ugyanis a brit gázszámlák áprilisban akár 50 százalékkal is emelkedhetnek, egy átlagos háztartás pedig éves összevetésben 700 fonttal (kb. 26 ezer hrivnya) fizethet többet a rezsiért 2022-ben.
