Az ukrán fővárosban péntek reggel 450 000 lakásban nem volt áram, Vitalij Klicsko polgármestere ezért arra kéri Kijev lakosságát, hogy lehetőség szerint takarékoskodjanak az elektromos energiával – számolt be az rbc.ua hírportál a városvezető Telegram-csatornájára hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint Klicsko azt írta: „ma reggelre 450 ezer fogyasztó, vagyis kijevi lakosok otthonai voltak áram nélkül. Ez másfélszer annyi, mint a megelőző napokban.” Megjegyezte, hogy a stabilizációs leállások azért köveztek be, mert túlterhelt lett az ország energiarendszerének központi csomópontja.
„Minden fővárosi lakoshoz fordulok: takarékoskodjanak az árammal, amennyire csak lehet, mert a helyzet továbbra is nehéz!” – szólított fel Vitalij Klicsko.
A hírportál emlékeztetett arra, hogy Ukrajnában folytatódnak az áramszünetek. Ma az ország 10 megyéjében és Kijevben lesznek tervezett áramszünetek.
Eközben Volodimir Zelenszkij elnök csütörtök esti videoüzenetében felhívást intézett az energiavállalatokhoz, hogy gondoskodjanak a minőségi kommunikációt a fogyasztókkal, mivel „az áramszüneteknek kiszámíthatóknak kell lenniük”.

Sürgős felhívást intézett Kijev polgármestere az Ukrajnát támogató nemzetközi erők felé, az áramszünetek közepette téli hidegre készülő megtámadott ország téli segélyekre szorul.
„Küldjetek takarókat és generátorokat, különben halálra fagyunk” – mondta Vitalij Klicsko, Kijev polgármestere és korábbi nehézsúlyú ökölvívó világbajnok a brit Telegraphnak.
🇺🇦 Mr Klitschko and his team have managed to purchase generators and have prepared 1,000 mobile heating points in Kyiv.
However, he admitted that they are still preparing for a “worst-case scenario” in their hometown as winter draws in.
Az ország energetikai infrastruktúrájának mintegy 40%-a sérült meg a rakéta- és dróntámadások következtében – emlékeztet a Bloomberg hírügynökség.
Kijev polgármestere a szombaton megjelent nyilatkozatában úgy fogalmazott, hogy mindent megtesznek, amit csak tudnak, hogy megmentsék az embereket és megvédjék őket. Már a hideg ellen is küzdeniük kell, így nem fegyvereket, hanem takarókat kér. „De ez a tél mindenképpen hatalmas kihívás lesz számunkra” – ismerte el.
Az interjúból az is kiderül, hogy a polgármester és csapata tudott generátorokat vásárolni és 1000 mobil fűtőpontot előkészíteni Kijevben, azonban a tél közeledtével mindig a legrosszabbra kell készülni. Lassan ugyanis beköszönt az országra a kemény tél, amikor a legalacsonyabb napi hőmérséklet -20 fok is lehet.

A kijevi lakosok készítsenek elő meleg otthoni ruhát és meleg takarókat télre, mert az otthonaiban a hőmérséklet több fokkal is alacsonyabb lehet a normálnál – jelentette be Vitalij Klicsko, az ukrán főváros polgármestere egy lapinterjúban, számolt be hétfőn az rbc.ua hírportál.
A jelentés szerint a kijevi polgármester a Babel című kiadványnak nyilatkozva jelezte, hogy a lakáshőmérsékleti norma 21 fok, de lehet, hogy ezen a télen 19 vagy 18 fok lesz. Szerinte előfordulhatnak áramszünetek is, de a városvezetés megpróbálja elérni, hogy ez ne így legyen. „Ha áramszünet lenne, akkor vannak generátoraink. Ha nincs fűtés vagy nincs gáz, akkor van fűtőolaj-tartalékunk. Egy ideig önállóan működhetünk. De ez elég rövid idő lesz a probléma megoldásához” – emlékeztetett.
A kijevi városvezető szerint a gázellátás a kormány feladata. A kormány arról biztosította a kijevi városvezetést, hogy lesz gáz a lakosságnak, és nem fog drágulni – tette hozzá. „Ez egy elvárás. De nem zárjuk ki, hogy lehetnek terrorcselekmények, benzinkutak elleni támadások. Ezt a forgatókönyvet is figyelembe vesszük. Generátorokat, üzemanyagot vásároltunk a generátorokhoz. Először is ezek a kórházaknak, óvodáknak és iskoláknak fognak menni. Megteszünk mindent, ami lehetséges és lehetetlen, ami tőlünk függ, hogy a lakások melegek legyenek” – ígérte meg Vitalij Klicsko.

Vitalij Klicsko, Kijev polgármestere arra kérte a kormányt, hogy hozzon létre egy katonai temetőt a fővárosban Ukrajna védőinek nyughelyéül.
„Ukrajna most nagy tragédián és nagy megpróbáltatásokon megy keresztül: katonáink, hazafiaink, az ukrán nemzet hősei halnak meg államunk szabadságáért és függetlenségéért. Nekünk pedig az a kötelességünk, hogy tiszteljük tetteiket és a hősök emlékét” – idézte Klicskót az Ukrajinszka Pravda.
A városi tanács a katonai temetőt a Babij Jar-i holokauszttemető mellett szeretné létrehozni, és magára vállalná ennek teljes költségét.
„Szükség van viszont országos szintű támogatásra is az okirati alátámasztások ügyében, esetleg külön törvény elfogadására ebben a kérdésben. Meggyőződésem, hogy Kijevnek az állammal közösen kellene megvalósítania ezt a projektet” – tette hozzá a polgármester.

Az Ukrán nép szabadságának emlékművévé nevezte át szombaton a kijevi városi tanács az eddig Népek barátsága néven ismert szovjet emlékművet.
A 35 méter magas, fémből készült, hatalmas boltívformájú emlékmű átnevezését Vitalij Klicsko polgármester jelentette be a Telegramon.
Az emlékművet egy kijevi belvárosi parkban alakították ki 1982-ben. Április végén már lebontották a hozzá tartozó – egy ukrán és egy orosz munkást ábrázoló – szobrot, amely a két nép egységét akarta szimbolizálni.
Emberi jogi aktivisták 2018-ban egy repedést ábrázoló matricát ragasztottak a boltívre. Az akcióval az Oroszországban és a 2014-ben Ukrajnától elcsatolt Krím félszigeten törvénytelenül őrizetbe vett politikai foglyokra akarták felhívni a figyelmet.
A városi tanács szombaton több mint negyven olyan emlékművet is megnevezett, amelyeket el kell távolítani Kijev utcáiról, illetve épületeket is kijelölt, amelyeket a jövőben a totalitarizmus korszakával kapcsolatos múzeummá kell átalakítani.
Vitalij Klicsko jelezte: olyan sok helyet és emlékművet kell átnevezni, hogy az új nevek megtalálása időigényes lesz, és történészek fognak részt venni a folyamatban. A polgármester arra intett, hogy ne hozzanak majd elhamarkodott döntéseket az új nevek kijelölésekor.
Kijevben sokan szorgalmazzák, hogy nevezzenek át több olyan helyet a fővárosban, amelynek jelenlegi neve Oroszországhoz vagy a Moszkvával szövetséges Fehéroroszországhoz kötődik. A kijevi metró által indított internetes szavazáson az emberek támogatták, hogy a Minszk nevű megállót Varsóra, a fehéroroszországi Breszt városra utaló Beresztejszka megállót pedig Bucsára nevezzék át, sőt azt is megszavazták, hogy a Lev Tolsztoj orosz író nevét viselő állomást inkább Vaszil Sztusz ukrán költőről nevezzék el.

Vitalij Klicskónak a pápához intézett levelét megelőzően a katolikus egyházfő meghívást kapott az ukrán görögkatolikus egyház vezetőjétől és Ukrajna vatikáni nagykövetétől is.
„Reméljük, hogy a személyes jelenléte lehetővé teszi emberéletek megmentését és a béke megteremtését a városunkban, országunkban és azon túl” – írta Klicsko.
Amennyiben a látogatás nem lehetséges, a polgármester élő vagy felvett videofelvételt javasolt, amelyen a pápán kívül megszólalna Volodimir Zelenszkij ukrán elnök is.
„Felkérjük önt mint egyházi vezetőt, tanúsítson együttérzést, álljon az ukrán nép mellett a békére való felhívás terjesztésével” – áll a levélben.
Szvjatoszlav Sevcsuk, az ukrajnai görögkatolikus egyház feje és Andrij Juras, Ukrajnának az Apostoli Szentszékhez akkreditált nagykövete a múlt hónapban külön-külön hívták meg a pápát, még a háború kitörése előtt.
A Vatikán közleményében megismételte a pápa szavait, aki implicite visszautasította Moszkvának az invázióra adott indoklását.
„A gyermekek, ártatlanok és védtelen civilek barbár legyilkolásának nincs semmilyen stratégiai értelme. Az elfogadhatatlan fegyveres agressziót egyszerűen le kell állítani, mielőtt temetővé változtatja a városokat” – mondta az Úrangyala imádság után mondott beszédében vasárnap a pápa.
Moszkva szerint az általa „különleges hadműveletnek” nevezett katonai akció nem területfoglalást, hanem a szomszédos ország „demilitarizálását” és „nácitlanítását” célozza. A pápa március 6-án implicite elutasította ezt a kifejezést, mondván, hogy ez nem lehet „csak katonai műveletnek”, tekinteni, „ez háború, amely könny- és véráradatot indított el”.

A jelentés szerint Klicsko videójában a kijevi területvédelmi egységek kiképzése látható. A gyakorlatok résztvevői elmondják, miért döntöttek a jelentkezés mellett. Köztük van a világhírű ökölvívó, Volodimir Klicsko, a kijevi polgármester testvére is, aki február 2-án nyújtotta be jelentkezési kérelmét a mozgósítási központba. „A motivációm a hazám, a városom, a családom, lányom iránti szeretetem, aki itt jár iskolába. Ez pedig arra ösztönöz, hogy megvédjem Ukrajnát, az otthonomat” – mondta el a bokszoló.
Tegnap Vitalij Klicsko a kijevi városi tanács ülésén szólította fel a képviselőket, hogy csatlakozzanak a főváros területvédelmi dandárjához. „Kijev továbbra is aktívan dolgozik a főváros területvédelmi rendszerének kialakításán. Hatékonyan együttműködünk az ukrán fegyveres erők területvédelmi erőinek parancsnokságával és a védelmi és biztonsági erők más egységeivel. ” – hangsúlyozta Kijev polgármestere.

Május 29-én koronavírus elleni oltási központ nyílik Kijevben a Brovarszki sugárúton lévő Nemzetközi Kiállítási Központban. A védőoltást azok a kijevi lakosok kapják meg, akik a Gyija alkalmazás révén regisztráltak. Jelenleg a CoronaVac kínai vakcinát alkalmazzák. Május 25-én a főváros több mint 20 000 adagot kapott az Egészségügyi Minisztériumtól.
Vitalij Klicsko, Kijev polgármestere elmondta, hogy a fővárosban már összesen több mint 113 000 személyt oltottak be, többnyire egészségügyi dolgozókat valamint szociális munkásokat, tanárokat, paralimpikonokat és mozgáskorlátozottakat. Az oltóanyagokat az Egészségügyi Minisztérium biztosította: Covishield, CoronaVac, Pfizer és AstraZeneca. Jelenleg az első adag beadásához szükséges vakcinákat felhasználták, a második adag beoltása folyamatban van – közölte a polgármester. Egyben hozzátette, Kijevben a kerületi alapellátási központok bázisán további 98 oltási pont, valamint 15 mobil oltási brigád működik. Mindenütt speciális képzésen átesett medikusokat alkalmaznak. Emellett további 10 mobil brigádot készítettek fel a Pfizer platformon való munkára. Amint Ukrajna megkapja a szükséges mennyiségű oltóanyagot, azonnal megkezdik a vakcinációt.
