Szolnokon Béres Klára, az alapítvány elnöke az adomány átadásakor hangsúlyozta: egy háborúban, amikor egy ország lakosságát elképzelhetetlen lelki és fizikai teher sújtja, minden segítség fontos, és sokszorosan számít. A Béres Alapítvány felajánlásának célba juttatását, Záhony Önkormányzatának együttműködésével az Ungvári Magyar Főkonzulátus vállalta. A Béres Alapítvány az orosz-ukrán háború kitörése óta igyekszik segíteni a nehéz helyzetbe került ukrajnai lakosságot. Támogatják a menekülteket, a rászorulókat, az időseket. Számos karitatív szervezettel való együttműködéssel célzottan juttatják el adományaikat a rászorulóknak. A Béres Alapítvány a mostani termékadománnyal együtt eddig összesen 35 millió forint értékű Béres-készítménnyel segítette az ukrajnai nehéz helyzetben élőket.
